Little Girl’s Doll

Published by Jerri Kay at 3:42 pm under Announcements

Hi everyone,

To create the quilted pattern I used a 1 1/4″ square punch and punched 12 squares.  I adhered the squares to a piece of chocolate chip paper and then sewed the pattern using a sewing machine.  I watercolored the doll on Naturals Ivory.  The tag is handwritten using a Faber-Castell black artist pen.

Isn’t she just the sweetest thing! I can hardly wait to hear your exciting news and I hope it’s about the M&CL stamp line. I wondered if you were going to have any pull in getting the owner to sell out to someone else, and I have my fingers crossed that this is what the exciting news is going to be about Jerri!

I too, love the Carrie Lou stamps. I bought a few of them many years ago when I first started stamping. Unfortunately I haven’t done much with them. But, you’ve given me new inspiraton with your beautiful creations. I hope your news involves rescuing the Carrie Lou stamp line. You would be the perfect person to do just that. I’ll be anxiously awaiting your news. Judi
