Bow Easy Tutorial - Woo Hoo, I did it!

Published by Jerri Kay at 2:40 pm under U-Tube Video Tutorials

Thank you my dear friend Jenn for all your help - I most certainly couldn’t have done it without you.  Thank you Stephen, you’re my greatest accomplishment, I love you dearly!

Stephen reloaded the video on YouTube via his MAC, pulling my computer off the project, and with Jenn Balcer’s video tech knowledge and step-by-step over-the-phone assistance, this very tech challenged old gal was finally able to get the tutorial posted.  Phew, I’m tired!

Ladies, please be kind . . . LOL . . . this is my first attempt and hopefully, with time, I’ll catch on.

EDITING TO ADD:  For those of you who don’t have a Bow Easy and want to know where you can find it, here’s a link to Sharon Johnson’s Stamp Simply Ribbon Store where it can be purchased for the very low fee of $6.

I wish you all a wonderful weekend with your loved ones!

WHAT A GREAT VIDEO! I personally enjoyed it and I want a Bow Easy. I see that this is a great and easy to use tool. I hope that you will make more videos. Your cards are so pretty and such an inspiration for my group at the senior center. I teach card making to a few “ladies” and we donate the cards to a local charity that gives goodie baskets to shut-ins and Hospice patients, with everyday necessities that are sometimes too expensive to buy on a fixed income. I once was the recipient when I was very ill and since God blessed me with remission, I started this group and we give back to help others who are not so fortunate. I will show this to my girls and we look forward to more from you! Thanks!

  39. Mary C. Andersonon 09 May 2009 at 1:53 pm

Thank you *very* much for making the bow tutorial. I love adding bows to my cards and now with your help I will be able to make bows that are different. I will be buying the bow easy tool ASAP. Thanks again.

Wow! Great job with the video! My Bow Easy is on its way (along with a nice sampler of ribbons, lol) from Sharon’s as we speak. After watching your video, I’m sure I’ll be able to use it right away with little learning curve. Gotta say, this tool seems like it’ll be a godsend for many of us who have trouble with our hands…my fingers really fumble a lot and this should help a lot! Thanks so much for this! ~Betsy

I was unable to decipher the direction too. They were clear as mud! You did a great job even though I still struggled with it, but I finally got it. That you so much. I bought the bow maker about a year ago, tried it and put it in the drawer and it has been there ever since. I had to go search which drawer I put it in. Again, thank you so much!

Great Tutorial Video Jerri!!!! You make it look so easy. With my arthritis and bad joints I always feeling like Fumble Fingers with little pieces. I think even I could do this….I’m gong to give it a try! I stand a better chance with this , than doing them on my own without the template to help. Thanks for the Video, you did a GREAT Job!!! THANK YOU TERRY

Thanks for the demonstration. Your video made it easy to follow.

    Ter:)

  74. Graceon 14 Jan 2010 at 11:30 am

Thank you for the great demonstration. I purchased a Bow easy at a Craft show about 6 years ago and have not used it very often only because of the drawing instructions, not very easy to follow. Your tutorial makes it look so much easier, plus the fact about making double bows. I can’t wait to start using it again!!
