Romantic Sentiments with JustRite Style
Today I had a chance to play with a new set that JustRite Stampers is coming out with on January 1, 2010 called Romantic Sentiments. I’m excited to give you a sneak peek of the wedding sentiment I used for my design.  This set is JustRite Stamper’s first centers only set.  It has been designed so that you can use it with all your 1 5/8″ borders as well as the new 2″ Decorative Frame Borders.  Nine designer centers are included in the set for $14.95. You can also combine the set with the 2″ Round Decorative Borders to create some beautiful combinations. The sentiments can be used for weddings, anniversaries, Valentine’s Day or any special occasion.Â

3D decoupage paper was used for the flower designs and can be purchased here. My husband gave me new photography lights for my birthday and since I finished the design late last night I decided to give my light tent (that has been stuffed in the attic) a try with the lights. I’m very pleased with the results. Isn’t that inner glow within the borders of the pictures so beautiful! I’ve been trying for years to figure out how to do it and I recently came upon a thread with complete, well-written, easy-to-understand instructions at Splitcoast Stampers written by my good friend Amy Sheffer. Amy, thank you so much for sharing these tips with us! You have my undying gratitude!!!

I wanted to provide this close up to show you the layers on these flowers. I used PergaKit to achieve dimension without using foam dots. It dries clear and is not easily seen. I used it on the entire project, including the larger Carnation White panel. I used the Lacy Basket Stencil EH1856 to create this design. The flowers are from a cut out sheet, I cannot lay claim to the beautiful artwork, although I’d like to . . . LOL!  I used a craft knife to cut the images.
