Just A Little Note

I’ve made some adorable, quick and easy note cards that I want to share with you. They are simple, not much work is involved, with a small sentiment and adorable little butterflies fluttering about. I have gotten so much use out of the Fancy Crafts Twin Punch with these butterflies, I never tire of them, they’re so dainty and perfect for small note cards like this.

I cut two of the largest Spellbinders™ Lacey Ovals using Daffodil Yellow paper. I then cut two Carnation White bases for the note cards using the Large Ovals dies by placing the folded paper inside the cutting edge of the die, an area was left uncut, giving me a fold edge. The folded cards were adhered to the backs of the Daffodil Yellow Lacey Ovals with Zip Dry adhesive. I left the inside blank for writing a little note.

I made the blue wild roses in three sizes using the Rose Creations dies. After embossing and assembling the roses, I added a bit of black Flower Soft to the flowers’ centers. The Foliage rose leaves are perfect for small cards like these.

I didn’t want the cards identical so I arranged the flowers and leaves a bit differently on each card.

Pearls were placed around the edge within the scallops  .    .    . I love the Lacey Ovals dies!

Love them Jerri. I love each flower you make. What a special talent God has given you. Would use them on a special gift to my Dad’s 83 year old girlfriend who adores cards like that. She loves my work. But I tell her there are other fellow crafters who do work that is far better than mine. Your one of them.
    Blessings to your day. Leanne
