About Me

Published by

Hi,  I’m Jerri Jimenez.   I live in Tampa, Florida.  I have two sons, Stephen 23 and Daniel 21.  Stephen and Daniel attend Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.  Stephen is in graduate school working on a PhD in civil engineering, Daniel is a junior with a double major, nutrition and chemistry.

This blog would not have been possible without the help of my son, Stephen.  Thank you Stephen for putting up with my whining, tantrums and impatience during the construction phase.  You deserve combat pay sweetheart, I love you dearly for having patience with me!

I was first introduced to stamping in May of 2005 by my dear friend, Barbie.  Paper crafting is a blessing in my life. I am so thankful to God for giving me a love of taking ordinary paper and creating something magical with it. My paper crafting toys live  in my craft room, which I affectionately call my studio.

I designed my blog banner from a colored pencil painting that I made summer of 2009.  My blog is dedicated to expressing my creativity.

My hobbies include paper crafting, water color, designing, sewing (cross stitch on linen), and gardening.

This is my first time on your site…LOVE IT. Since I am a glitter queen and love to color….you are someone I need to get to know. Have been “addicted” to stamping and card making since 2006. My best friend in Ohio got me started in it all by being a demo for SU. So finally this past March I became a hobby demo myself!!! Gotta find ways to support my habit, since I am a disabled nurse for the past nine years due to a work related injury and arthritis. Going to really enjoy coming onto your site and want to thank you for reading my comment. God bless. evette from NYstate

Jerri: “Everything” you do is so lovely. I always look forward to your blog. Your tutorials make it look so easy until I try and master them. LOL I do have a question. What is embossing paper? How is it different than regular paper? Do you ever offer classes? I am a snowbird and winter in Fort Myers. I would love to learn some of your techniques. I can hardly wait to see more of your beautiful creations.

    A Happy Stamper,
    Margie

Can you tell me please what is a mum ?
When i first looked at it I thought it was a tutorial just for mums’s as I am Australian, then realised you are not so couldnt be that, then i thought it was a mothers day tutoria, nope , I am assuming it is the flower I have worked that bit out but what sort of flower is it. It looks somewhat like a chrysanthumum but i wasnt sure (not that it matters was just bugging me lol)

Thank you for some awesome projects

Jeri-Your work is beautiful and I admire your creativity. I would never attempt to do the kind of work you do but I am addicted to stamping and have been for about 29 years. I moved to the “south” (near Nashville, TN) from NW Indiana about 2 years ago which is quite a change. Keep up the great work! Your art is refreshing and inspirational. Thank you!!!
